Our story
My name is Rebecca and I own this farm along with my husband Isaiah. We met January of 2019 and was married by September of 2019. Some said we were crazy but why wait! From the first day we met we knew we wanted to marry each other. A year later we bought our family pup Appa. He is a golden doodle. Then, We had a baby girl named Suzan right after Christmas of 2022. Suzan loves all the animals and loves to help take care of them or at least tries to help. Currently Isaiah is an independent contractor while I stay home and raise our baby girl as long as taking care of the day to day farm chores. I also try to make as much of our food from scratch.
Isaiah grew up on this farm raising over 200 sheep. As Isaiah and his brothers grew older and got jobs Isaiahs parents sold the animals as it was too much for just them. When we got married we bought the farm from Isaiahs parents and are continuing to grow and improve it. We now have near 40 sheep, 3 cows, 30 chickens, over 50 pigs, and of course our family pet Appa.
We have South African Dorper sheep which is a hair sheep. Dorper meat is the best lamb you will ever try!
Our main breed of pigs are Mangalitsa which are very hairy pigs with lots of healthy fat to use in your cooking, baking or soap. We also have red wattle and Mangalitsa cross.
We have a brown Swiss and a Jersey milk cow as long as a Hereford¸beef cow.
All of our livestock is pasture raised so we know exactly what is going into our body as we grow these animals.
